经历篇：

Describe a festival that is popular in your country.
You should say:
what the festival is
how it is celebrated
what is special about this day
and explain why it is popular in your country.

It takes me a while to think about what to talk about as there are too many festivals we celebrate in China, like the Lantern Festival and the Spring Festival. But a lot of festivals which are quite popular in some other countries are coming in these days, like Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween or even Easter Day, some of which even beat our traditional festivals. To be frank, we do not even know what is behind them and why we should celebrate, we just take it as an opportunity to get together with friends and family.

So what I choose today is Halloween. A lot of Chinese people get dressed up and go for a theme party the night before Halloween. I went to a pub as well, and I felt the same thing that I felt when I was abroad. Some of them dressed like a vampire, a witch or a zombie. Quite scary, but I totally felt the spirit and atmosphere of Halloween. But the trick or treat thing is still not popular here. Maybe we should know more about the culture thing which is behind the festival.

Finally, the reason why it has become so popular is not very hard to explain. A lot of foreign people rush into China these days. They would definitely bring their culture in.
