So tired

I’m so tired today after such 5-day’s intensive work. Now I’m at the company, struggling to finish this article. During the class this morning, the teacher told us the most successful people are those who work intensively everyday instead of one or two days. They keep working hard over twenty even forty years. They also keep on exercising to empower themselves which makes them more energetic and gives them enough energy to support them bear so many heavy tasks. Frankly speaking, I feel my body couldn’t support such a high intensive work although I often run. But what I should reflect is that whether I run or not totally depends on my mood. I couldn’t run routinely as planned which resembles my reading habit. I didn’t pay persistent effort on the most of things I ever did. Writing in English is one thing I persist for such a long time. Last year I did push-ups every day for half a year and I made a big progress but gradually, I gave up. To be honest, persisting is hard and painful in the beginning but if we keep on for a few months, it’ll become easier for us to finish the task and we won’t feel tired.

What makes me so tired is that I didn’t do things routinely. I’ll work very hard while I’m happy and I’ll choose to go to bed while I’m not in the state. Haruki Murakami writes 10 pages and run ten kilometers everyday whether he is happy or not and whether it rains or not. He wouldn’t run 20 kilometers if he is in the good state. But what I always do is when I run a few kilometers and feel I’m in a good state, I’ll run a very long distance until I couldn’t tolerate. And then I’ll rest for a few days to rest my legs. Although I run the same distance in these two running routines, but the everyday run will make me more strong and energetic. All in all, the stronger our habits, the less tired we’ll be.
