How to give feedback

怎样给出反馈


Impersonal: To be impersonal means to not show or involve personal feelings. Impersonal feedback focuses on someone’s behavior rather than their personality. It addresses specific actions that employees can change. If feedback criticize someone’s personality, they may feel insulted and won’t accept it.
客观的:客观的意味着不要去表现出或者参杂个人感受。客观的反馈关注的是某人的行为而不是他们的人格。它着重解决员工可以改变的特定行为。如果反馈批评某个人的性格,他们也许感到被侮辱了,不会接受反馈。

Consistent: To be consistent means to always behave or happen in a similar way. Keeping your feedback consistent requires you a clear standard to evaluate employee’s behavior. If your feedback to an employee always changes, they won’t know what they are expected to do.
稳定的:稳定的意味着永远用差不多的方式表现或者发声。保持反馈稳定,需要你有一个清晰的标准去评价员工的行为。如果你对员工的反馈总是在变化,他们将不会知道他们被期待做些什么。

Actionable: Actionable feedback offers clear steps to improve an employee’s performance. It suggests a specific way to change their behavior. If feedback only focuses on why an employee needs to improve, but not how they can improve, it will be hard to implement.
可行动的:可行动的反馈提供明确的步骤来提升员工的表现。它能提供一些特定的建议来改变他们的行为。如果反馈仅仅关注为什么员工需要提升,但不是他们怎样才能提升,那么这将会很难去实施。

Empathetic: To be empathetic means to be able to understand and share the feelings of someone else. Being empathetic to a difficult employee allows you to look at things from their perspective. They can help you gain a better understanding of why they behave the way they did.
善解人意的:善解人意意味着能够理解并且分享其他人的一些感受。对问题员工保持共情会让你从他们的视角看待失误。这能帮助你更好理解为什么他们会那样去表现。

It's easy for someone to become insulted when their personality is criticized. For example, many people who are addicted to games are losers in real life but heroes on the Internet that always criticize everything except themselves. This can spread bad emotions that may influence people around us and is not impersonal. To solve these difficult heroes, you'd better stay empathetic to them to gain a better understanding of looking at things from their perspective because they don't have an output of their feelings. They may be lonely, poor or even miserable, but they try to act a hero that involves their bad feelings in a bad way. So don't give a damn about their bad words and pray for them.
