如果有来生

I would like to be a tree.

要做一棵树

Standing in the dust firmly,

结成永恒

without happiness and sadness.

没有悲欢的姿势

A half of my body

will be sleeping in the earth peacefully.

一半在尘土里安详

A half of my body will be dancing

with the wind joyfully.

一半在风里飞扬

A half of my body will be

providing green shade for passers-by willingly.

一半洒落荫凉

A half of my body will be

bathing in the sunshine warmly.

一半沐浴阳光

So quiet and proud will I be

非常沉默、非常骄傲。

that I will not have to depend on anyone,

searching for anything.
