This chapter writes about Tyler. He is the third of Tara’s brothers to leave home. He likes books and looks forward to go to school. But his dad disagrees it.

Although the children haven’t been to school before leaving the home, their mother are still insisting to teach them at home. Maybe it urges Tyler’s longing for school. Eventually he leaves home and enters into a school.
