After I had had lunch at a village pub, I looked for my bag. I had left it on a chair/tʃeər/beside the door and now it wasn't there! As I was looking for it, the landlord/ˈlænd.lɔːd/ came in. 'Did you have a good meal?' he asked. 'Yes, thank you,' I answered, 'but I can't pay the bill /bɪl/. I haven't got my bag.' The landlord smiled and immediately went out. In a few minutes he returned with my bag and gave it back to me. 'I'm very sorry,' he said ' My dog had taken it into the garden. He often does this.'

/r/是流音、齿龈、浊辅音,旧版音标和美式音标对应的符号都是[r]。

发音方法

现在来看看我们应该如何正确的发出/r/这个音。

1）双唇略张开并收圆，稍突出。

2）舌尖卷起，靠近上齿龈后部,舌两侧贴住上齿龈两侧。

3）气流通过舌端及上齿龈后背部形成轻微的摩擦，同时震动声带发出/r/音。

注意：/r/是个浊辅音，声音是由声带震动发出，有些学生会把汉语中的声母r的发音来代替/r/的发音，于是把rose读成"肉丝"，把road读成"肉的"，但实际上两者有很大的差别。

单词练习

下面列出发/r/音的字母或字母组合的单词，多听发音并练习。
