1. Be 动词包括 am, are 和is。
使用哪个be动词是由主语决定的。
对应的法则可以用一个记忆口诀概况：
我用am，你用are，is 跟着他她它，复数全部都用are。

（1）主语和be动词有时可以连起来缩写：
I am=l'm
we are=we're
you are=you're
they are=they're
he is =he's
she is=she's
it is=it's
that is=that's
（2）be动词和否定词有时可以连起来缩写：
are not= aren't
is not=isn't
【注意】：
1.this和is不能缩写。
these，those和are不能缩写。
am和not 不能缩写。
2.一般疑问句的肯定回答中，主语和be动词不能缩写：
例："Is it a new bag？"的肯定回答应该是
"Yes, it is."
而不能写成 "Yes, it's."
