2. inscribe= to write words in a book or carve (= cut) them on an object
e.g. The prize winners each receive a book with their names inscribed on the first page.
3. legitimate= ①allowed by law
e.g. The army must give power back to the legitimate government.
②reasonable and acceptable
e.g. who told me I was great long before there was any legitimate reason to do so.
