Have a last look,

And say goodbye...

Once you walk out,

You'll never come back...

Joy, sorrow, laughter, and tears,

Noisy parties, absolute solitude,

Beautiful purple and white magnolias

Out of the window,

The loathsome downstair strangers,

The unknown neighbours,

Have all been left behind...

That part of life gone,

Another leg lies ahead...

I wonder,

When this life is gone,

Will we have another?

Can we easily say

As I do now?
