I didn't sleep well last night. I woke up at about half past two and couldn't fall asleep until about four.

my baby daughter May didn't sleep well. When she woke up, she would cry, which woke me up.

I didn't know wheather she was woken by the noise from the teaching building in from of the dormitory building that we are living in.

The teaching building is being spruced up. They were doing it at night because students were in the classrooms.

The other reason why I couldn't fall asleep was that I was thinking about the plot of a novel.
