Summary

MBTI  personality test is widely popular but without any solid experiment. Someone claimed that it's completely meaningless. It assigns personality types based on four sets of opposing qualities:extroverted/introverted/sensing/intuiting/thinking/feeling/perceiving/judging. Without the benefit of any systematic psychological experimentation,most people don't fit neatly into it and we fall somewhere in between.

For some people, when doing the test, they get the feeling of aha! Maybe putting oneself in a category may be satisfying and the result can be acted as a badge and an identity marker to protect us.
