2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

从此，天与地都创造完成了，还有所有他们的主人。

2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

在第七天，上帝结束了他所有的造物工作。他在第七天休息，看着他完成的所有工作。

2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

上帝保佑第七天使其神圣，因为在这一天，他可以从所有他创造和制造的工作中休息。

2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

当天与地被创造的时候，就是天与地的时代。在这一天，主神创造了地和天。

2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

在大地上田地里所有植物出现之前，在地上蔬菜生长之前，主神没有让大雨降落到大地上，也没有一个人耕种土地。
