I have just rceived a letter from my brother, Tim. He is in Australia He hasbeen there for six months. Tim is an engineer. He is working for a big firm

and he has already visited a great number of different places in Australia. He

has just bought an Australian car and has gone to Alice Springs, a small town

in the centre of Australia. He will soon visit Darwin. From there, he will fly to

Perth. My brother has never been abroad before, so he is finding this trip very

exciting.

练习感悟:今天的文章中有几个长句子，跟着录音的速度有点舌头打结，到了自己录反而读快了很多。听力和识别自己和录音的区别能力有待提升，在长句子这里问题比较明显。
