说"不"的十大常见情形
Although everyone wants to be available to help, it's important to learn how to refuse others when necessary, especially if you're the kind of person who feels guilty after saying 'no'!
尽管大家都愿意做一个乐于助人的人，但是学会怎么拒绝别人也是很重要的，特别当你是那种一说"不"就觉得特别内疚的人。
1.Sorry. I can't commit to this as I have other priorities at the moment.
不好意思，我现在有要紧事忙，不能帮你。
Stating clearly why you are not able to help.Also,by offering future help at a time when you won't be so busy.
解释清楚你为什么不能帮忙，同时，说明当你不那么忙了就会来帮忙的。
2.Sales attack销售人员的促销
Say I am not interested at all.
直说我一点都不感兴趣。
Although being polite is important, apologizing just makes you sound weaker. You need to be firm about your decision so that the other person wili leave you alone.
尽管有礼貌是很重要的，但是道歉只会让你显得很弱势。你需要坚持自己的决定，不买就是不买，这样他们就不会打扰你了。
3.Complain with style
有技巧地去抱怨
When you need to say no to waiters, hotel staff, or taxi drivers, try asking them to "put themselves in your shoes" .

6.Turning down an admirer

When you need to say no to an admirer who's asking you to go on a date. you should try "hitting himlher with your best shot!".

7.Giving honest opinions
诚实地表达意见
If a friend of yours asks you if he/she looks okay in a hideous outfit, the best thing to do is tell the truth. However, don't just blurt out "No, you look terrible！" Make sure you sprinkle your 'no' with a little white lie in order to protect your friend's feelings.
如果你朋友穿着一件很不好看的衣服问你怎么样的时候，最好实话实说。但是，不能直接说"不好看，丑死了！"，用一点善意的谎言表达你的"不"，因为我们不能伤害朋友的感情。

If a friend or relative asks to borrow money and it makes you uncomfortable to be involved in their financial issues, you may need fo be tough with your'no'.

When you need to say no to a bad idea, you should always sound supportive but noncommittal. Sometimes, you can add additional information to make your opinions sound more convincing.
当你需要对一个坏主意说不，你应该总是听起来支持但不置可否。有时，你可以添加其他信息，以使你的意见听起来更有说服力。
10.No give-a-ways不捐赠
When people ask you to donate money to charities, it can be hard to say no. You need to be firm and let them know that it's not that you don't want to help, it's just that you can't because you have other plans for your money!
当别人要求你给慈善机构捐钱的时候，说不是很难的。你要很坚定地告诉他们，你不是不愿意帮忙，只是这些钱你有其他的用处。
