天净沙·秋思

枯藤老树昏鸦，

小桥流水人家，

古道西风瘦马。

夕阳西下，

断肠人在天涯。

      这是一首自《静夜思》后，脱口而出就可以背诵的古诗；今天在学习英语长难句的时候，我学会了它的英文版本。

There, in the distance, are withered vines around an old tree, and a crow is sitting on it at dusk.

Not far from it, near a cottage, there exists a small bridge with running water under it.

Besides, a lean horse is walking on an ancient path in the west wind.

At the moment when the sun is setting, a heartbroken man is far from home.

      汉英对照，很明显就可以发现汉语的古诗和英文翻译后的样子，其中的韵味儿就少了很多，这也就是文化的差异了吧！翻译，有时候还真的不是那么一回事儿了。
