Part 1: What We Learned:

第五章 没有Savannah陪伴的一天，John过得百无聊赖，没有地方去的他来到了Leroy‘s bar，却发现自己讨厌那里的一切，包括过去的那些朋友。我想可能这个酒吧代表着他过去曾经有过的没有追求毫无目标的颓靡生活……他离开的时候，杯子里的酒都几乎是满的……他的厌恶和离开似乎在告诉我们John真的已经不再是过去的那个他了。

我们也更加体会到父亲的不善言辞，John主动提起自己与Savannah的约会时，他没有追问；回家看到儿子第一次为自己准备晚餐，他也没有流露出惊喜而只是装作原本就没有打算自己做的样子；当儿子第一次问起自己的母亲时，他也是寥寥几句就起身结束了话题……我很好奇，为什么父亲会如此沉默，他的喜怒哀乐呢？他会一直这样吗？还是在之后的某一个事件中集中爆发？
