Can one minute equal to forty minutes?Well ,in real life,it can’t,but sometimes it can too.

For example,there are forty people in a class,and the teacher scolded a student for one minute,they lost one minute in class.But the minute belongs to everyone,so,forty students all lost one minute,so forty minutes are lost in total.

So,sometimes one equals forty.
