烧开水的第四周

这周有些懈怠。学习了四篇较为简单的课文。

《Hit》

If you know what you are worth, go and get what you are worth.

But you gotta be willing to take this hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be, because of him or her or anybody.

知道自己价值几何，能做什么那就去做吧。

要乐意接受打击，而不是抱怨别人是因为谁谁造成你的失败。

《Will you fight》

Would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that, for one chance, just for one change ?

To come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives and they’ll never take our freedom.

一切都是自己的选择，你拥有选择的自由，就看你拿自由做什么。

《Never surrender》

We shall not flag or fail

We shall go on to the end

We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be

We shall never surrender.

《Without victory, there’s no survival》

You ask, what’s our policy ?

I will say :” it’s to wage war, by sea, land and air, with all our might, with all the strength that God has given us, to wage war against a monstrous tyranny, never surpassed in the dark, and lamentable catalogue of human crime.

You ask, what’s our aim ?

I can answer in one word: victory.

后面两篇是邱吉尔的演讲，语言简单易懂，排比句式气势磅礴，重要问题反复重复，让人印刷深刻。必胜的决心，可以被打倒，但是决不投降，坚信胜利。

还要主要发起战争，不惧怕困难。
