A Person I Will Never Forget - M
(Miss Marsh, if you are reading this by any chance, sorry I have used your real name without permission and I hope if that's okay)
Back in 2014, when I was still a little kid and still went to primary, I woke up every day and went to my school, Baverstock Oaks School. I would pass my friends, the school staff and the very busy parents every day. I would glance at the parents and kids and the next day I would see them again and not remember who that person was. I saw the same parents bringing the same kids to school for one whole year and I don't remember them. The one person that I saw every day, that I remembered was my classroom teacher, Miss Marsh.
Now skipping back to early 2014, I was sitting the hall with all my friends and just waiting for my name to be called out and to see who my teacher was. There were many teachers and some of them I liked and some I didn't. When I heard my name, "Harry Shi..." I immediately rushed to the front of the hall and with the first sight of my teacher, I was already dreading the year. It was Miss Marsh. But throughout the year I changed my perspective and how I saw Miss Marsh as a teacher and as a person.
The first day with my new teacher I got to take a look at her and see what she looked like and how she spoke, for a whole day! She had black hair and small freckles. She was medium height and her voice sounded like my voice, except in a female form!
The days passed and along with me the class bonded with Miss Marsh and we all had a great year. Miss Marsh was a great teacher her personality was very vibrant and sunny, but sometimes she got a bit mad at us for misbehaving!
Now having a person seem unforgettable to you is very rare. My teacher taught me things that I would have never learnt myself. She was a very confident person and was always willing to help out. Other than her sincere acts of kindness, what really made me remember her was that she really believed in me when no one else did. She helped me win the Outstanding Achievement Cup and I am very thankful for that.
Just want to say thank you, Miss Marsh, for being a great teacher and to everyone else out there, respect your teacher, who knows if something they taught you prevented some really bad things from happening?
