As long as we made a sincere effort to gain the evidence necessary to achieve certainty and are not deliberately shoosing to ride the fence, there is no shame in admitting.
只要我们真诚地努力去获得确定性所必需的证据，而不是故意骑墙观望，承认这一点也不丢人。

• "I cannot say for certain what the correct judgment is in this situation."
  我不能肯定地说在这种情况下什么是正确的判断。

• On the contrary, there is virtue in doing so. Yet such situations demand on further obbligation of responsible thinkers.
  相反的，这样做是有好处的，在这种情况下有责任的思考者需要承担进一步的义务。

• It is to explain, if possible, waht judgment probability favors that is, what judgment the evidence suggests, as opposed to proves, is correct.

Whenever you cannot achieve certainty, focus on probability.
