例：

你下楼的时候能丢一下垃圾吗？

当你在外面，手里有“垃圾” 要扔，可以说：

put it in the trash can

例：

Don't drop the bottle on the ground, please put it in the trash can.

不要把瓶子扔在地上，请扔到垃圾桶里去。

如果你要 “清理垃圾桶”，可以说：

empty the recycle bin

例：

Michael, stop watching TV and go to empty the recycle bin.
