今天分享一首艺术歌曲，《Oft in the Stilly Night》，中文译为《常常在静夜里》。
第一次知道这首歌是在林海音的小说《城南旧事》中《孟珠的旅程》一节。
《城南旧事》
文中孟珠的父亲因为徐蚌会战不幸去世，由母亲带着两个女儿来到台湾，却在磨难中逝世。孟珠只好利用她美丽的容颜和甜美的歌喉去歌厅上班，用卖唱的钱养活两张口，同时送妹妹读中学、上大学。
文中孟珠所唱的那些歌曲，既有阳春白雪，也有靡靡之音，但无一的都充满了韵味，这首《常常在静夜里》便是她最喜欢的一首。一句“灯光已灭，花冠久谢，空馀孤客自伤神”不知道尽了多少心酸。

作者
歌曲作者是19世纪爱尔兰诗人兼作曲家穆尔（Thomas Moore 1779-1852），著名作品包括《The Last Rose of Summer 》、《The Minstrel Boy》等，还有这首《Oft in the stilly night》。
中文翻译据说来自郑萍因（郑骞），他曾与李抱忱先何合译德沃夏克的《念故乡》（歌曲改编自德洛夏克《新世纪交响曲》的第二章，至今仍是各地合唱团演出的标准曲目），也是我国许多抗战歌曲的词作者，他的原名或许是叫“郑因百”，因为网上对他的介绍很少，所以我也不太确定，如果大家有了解相关信息的，欢迎在评论区告诉我。
