In the night of weariness let me give myself up to sleep without struggle, restingmy trust upon thee.

Let me not force my flagging spirit into a poor preparation for thy worship.

It is thou who drawest the veil of night upon the tired eyes of the day to renew its sight in a fresher gladness of awakening.

在这困倦的夜晚，让我不再硬撑，把自己交给睡眠，完全信任你。

让我不再强振萎靡的精神为你准备一个草率的礼拜。

是你拉上夜幕盖住白日的倦眼，让它的目光在苏醒的鲜活喜悦中恢复神采。
