DAY 7 | READING WIDELY
How long have you been stuck in your native language when reading?
If you are like the speaker who read almost none of translation works in her life, you will sooner or later find how boring it is.
In this TED talk, I learned to read widely without discrimination. We must understand that every culture has its own power and we can't judge them easily just because of the position of our culture.
In other words, we should read widely on the premise of respect.
Reading is a great way to contact us with the world. Through reading books from different countries and area, understanding the backgrounds, we will know the world more globally, which really meets the needs of today's world.
As for me, I have a plan to read ninety books in this year. There is not a clear book list yet but I think I will read as more translation works as I can.
