1. coincides

If one event coincides with another, they happen at the same time.

e.g. The kids' views on life don't always coincide, but they're not afraid of voicing their opinions.

2. pledge

When someone makes a pledge, they make a serious promise that they will do something.

e.g. The meeting ended with a pledge to step up cooperation between the six states of the region.

If something has a stigma attach to it, people think it is something to be ashamed of.

e.g. There is still a stigma attached to cancer.
