Who’s More Polite?

谁更有礼貌？

A fat man and a skinny man were arguing (争论) about who was more polite (有礼貌的).

一个胖子和一个瘦子在争论谁更有礼貌。

The skinny man said he was more polite because he always tipped his hat (帽子) to ladies.

瘦子说他更有礼貌,因为他经常对女士摘帽示意。

But the fat man thought he was more courteous (有风度的).

但是胖子认为他更有风度。

He said: “Whenever I get up and offer my seat (座位), two ladies could sit down.”

他说：“无论什么时候我在车上给别人让座，总有两位女士能坐下。”
