题目描述

Merge two sorted linked lists and return it as a new sorted list. The new list should be made by splicing together the nodes of the first two lists.

Example:

Input: 1->2->4, 1->3->4
Output: 1->1->2->3->4->4

通过合并两个有序链表生成一个新的有序链表。新链表由这两个链表的节点构成。

分析&解答

链表主要由节点构成,节点之间通过指针链接。两个有序链表的合并的核心在于指针的处理,怎么把两个链表的节点通过指针链接起来,形成新的有序链表。

因为,生成的新链表也是有序的,所以,我们依次比较两个链表的节点,把值小的节点先链接到结果链表中,直到两个链表结束。

具体思路为:

            if (l1->val < l2->val){
                node->next = l1;
                l1 = l1->next;
            }
            else{
                node->next = l2;
                l2 = l2->next;
            }
            node = node->next;
        }
        if (l1) node->next = l1;
        if (l2) node->next = l2;
        
        return first->next;
    }
};
