CHAPTER FOUR

From the continuous phone calls, I know that I was not the only one who want to visiting this old man.

He said as he was dying, people became more interested in him and they saw him as a bridge. He was sort of between being alive and dead.

He didn't understand why his old professor was so warm to him though he was not one of promising students many years ago. He can only find one reason for his absence:he was too busy. He finally lived the life he hated.

The professor asked many questions he couldn't answer. "Have you found someone  to share your heart with?" "Are you at peace with yourself?" "Are you trying as human as you can be?"

The professor said"Only dying is one thing to be sad over. But living unhappily is another thing." Though he couldn't do many things by himself, he was so accepting.
