尽管母亲依旧贫穷

Poor as Mother remains

儿女对母亲的爱绝不含糊

Children's love for her is unequivocal

我们只要喊一声“母亲万岁”

As long as we shout “Long live Mother”

更深沉的爱在心中如火山喷涌

Deeper love in our hearts is like a volcano gushing

尽管母亲平凡无功

Though Mother is ordinary and has no meritorious deeds

她在儿女心中是真正的英雄

She is a real heroine in the hearts of her children

王侯将相的功业谁能记住多少

Who can remember the achievements of princes and generals

儿女们却能把母亲的恩德牢记心中

But children can keep firmly in mind their mother’s kindness

尽管母亲人微言轻

Although Mother's social status is not high

她在儿女心中却比泰山还重

She is weightier than Mount Tai in the hearts of her children

她没有惊天动地的伟业

Though she has not made earth-shattering achievements

却用母爱浇灌了儿女的成功

With maternal love she has irrigated the success of her children
