What gift are YOU refusing to be?

Have you ever gone shopping for the perfect gift for someone you love and spent hours walking around the store, only to return home exhausted and empty-handed?

The necessity of always getting things right, and never being wrong, spills over to every area of life. For instance, it’s impossible to create your life when you’re so busy…well, trying to get the right result. However, if you can be right or wrong, all kinds of different choices open up.

“I’m more interested in engaging in things than I am in being right,” founder of Access Consciousness, Gary Douglas, said on this month’s Creative Edge of Consciousness telecall.

“If you engage with each and every person you come in contact, what you end up doing is creating a different reality for them.”

Who or what can you engage with that will create a better world?

Engaging with people is about seeing their value. There is no judgment, but rather a curiosity about what’s motivating their choices. And, it’s a two-way street because when you engage with people, they want to do things for you.

The flipside with engagement is, you have to give up hiding and all the ways you try to disappear in the crowd.

Gary asked, “How much of your energy are you using to hide you, so you don’t have to engage so you never have to be a gift?”

The problem is, if you’re not willing to be the gift, you won’t choose to be as different as you are.

Most people spend their entire lives trying to fit in while others defy custom and tradition, in order to stand out from the crowd.

“Standing out is not being different—standing out is standing out,” Gary explained. “Why do you need to stand out? To prove that you’re different.”

“If you have to prove it, then you’ve already decided that you’re not different,” Access Choice Of Possibilities Facilitator Brendon Watt added.

Creation in motion

What gift are you, that you refuse to be, that is so needed the earth will not survive without it? Every time you come to a conclusion, every time you come to a decision, every time you have to be right you’re not being a contribution to the earth.

So, don’t look for a result, just create whatever change the earth can have.

“If you have a target about it you’re trying to control what the earth can do,” Gary pointed out.

“You’re trying to see the result that’s created not that your creation started something in motion. The awareness doesn’t complete but it was still a choice and it created something.”

And, you can always ask, is there anything else I need to do or be here?

总是把事情做对，从不出错的必要性渗透到生活的每一个领域。例如，当你很忙的时候，你不可能去创造你的生活…试图得到正确的结果。然而，如果你能做对或错，各种不同的选择就会出现。

“我对从事比对的事情更感兴趣。”Access Consciousness创始人加里·道格拉斯，上述的在这个月的意识的创造性边缘电信。

“如果你接触到每一个和你接触的人，你最终所做的是为他们创造一个不同的现实。”

你能与谁或什么东西打交道才能创造一个更美好的世界？

与人交往就是看他们的价值。没有判断，而是对是什么促使他们做出选择的好奇。而且，这是一条双行道，因为当你和人们打交道的时候，他们想为你做事。

与订婚相反的是，你必须放弃躲藏，放弃所有你试图在人群中消失的方式。

盖瑞问：“你用了多少精力来隐藏你，这样你就不需要投入，这样你就不会成为一个礼物了。”

问题是，如果你不愿意成为礼物，你就不会选择变得和你不同。

大多数人为了脱颖而出，一生都在努力融入社会，而另一些人则挑战习俗和传统。

“与众不同并不是与众不同——突出是突出的，”加里解释道。“你为什么要脱颖而出？来证明你与众不同。”

“如果你必须证明这一点，那么你就已经决定了你和以前没有什么不同。”可能性的选择添加。

什么礼物你是你拒绝的吗？如果没有它，地球将无法生存下去？每一次你下结论，每一次你做出一个决定，每一次你都要做对你不是在为地球做贡献。

所以，不要期待结果，只要创造出地球可以改变的一切。

“如果你有一个目标，你试图控制地球可以做什么，”加里指出。

“你试图看到的结果并不是你的创造物开始在运动中。意识没有完成但这仍然是一个选择它创造了一些东西。”
