《圣经》典故之二十四：石头说话？

Stone will cry out ：石头必要呼叫起来；原意指感情无法控制，后转用指坏事一定会暴露。

出自《新约·路加福音》19章。原文： Luke 19: When the Pharisees in the crowd heard the people’s worship directed at Jesus, they said to Him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!” And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.  众人中有几个法利赛人对耶稣说：“夫子，责备你的门徒罢。”耶稣说“我告诉你们，若是他们闭口不说，这些石头必要呼叫起来！”

这是耶稣进入耶路撒冷后，被杀前的一周所说的话。他用石头会说话来说明人们的呼声应该被鼓励而不是压制，否则，必然会发展到无法控制的局面。
