The importance of making plans
Some people prefer to make detailed plans, but others like to concentrate on present things and don’t make any plans at all. In my eyes, I tend to agree to make plans in advance, so that I can finish the task effectively. Otherwise, I can’t follow up the whole working schedule and report to my boss in time. About the topic, I ‘d like to explain the importance of making plans.
First, I think making plans is effective to improve the working efficiency. Generally, our plans include working contents, working distribution, operating methods, time schedule, feedback flow and so on. Here is a reminding that we’d better finish the plans within the control time. When we make plans, we should consider adding the extra time to avoid affecting the schedule due to other things interrupting. An old saying is that people, who pay more attention to making plans, must be a good worker. In general, the type of people has a clear career goal and strongly organize things at work.
In other hands, making plans is a vital form in interior communication of the company. In a large company, I can’t imagine how to run without any plan. Some problems exist in everywhere including different department, different employees or goods’ quality problem and so on. Every problem should make a detailed plan to resolve. During the work, sometimes some working is invisible, so we also often complain others’ working. We don’t know how the other party perform the related actions, even our boss doesn’t know the working contents. As a result, in the boss’s eyes, our working methods lack efficiency and also affect our promotion opportunity. At this time, making working plan is a good tool, so that we can transfer invisible working to visible working.
Third, we must ensure that the plans can be performed effectively. After doing a working plan, we must insist in performing it. In fact, the plan is only a framework, only we try to fill in it with the detailed contents, we can analyze or evaluate whole working effectively. If the working plan cannot be implemented, it means the plan is out of the control. It is easy for our plan purpose to fall in crisis.
Of course, the plan can be adjusted when the performing result violates the original purpose…
