岂不知你们的身子就是圣灵的殿吗？这圣灵是从神而来，住在你们里头的。（林前 6:19）

圣经关于淫乱的最基本的教导是我们的身体是圣灵的殿。保罗还说，“并且你们不是自己的人。因为你们是重价买来的。所以要在你们的身子上荣耀神。”

我们属于耶稣基督，包括我们的头发，皮肤，骨头和其它任何部分，他用他在十字架上流出的宝血买赎了我们，这是非常高昂的赎价，所以我们有很重的责任和义务。归根结底，我们靠着基督才有一个圣洁的生活。

除了我们直接属于基督，我们还是圣灵的居所。基督已经用他的宝血洁净了我们，现在圣灵使我们成圣。我们绝不应该认为我们的身体是不重要的、也许性或身体上的罪比别的罪轻些。我们的身体被称为“圣灵的殿”，在任何时间、任何情况下我们都必须铭记这一点。

殿的功能和目的是什么？殿是神居住的地方，也可以说是神的“家”。当行走天路时，我们需要记住，主不仅与我们同在，而且还住在我们里面。

我们的身体是圣灵的殿，它能成为殿单单因为基督已经洁净了我们的身体和灵魂。它是殿，因为神借着圣灵住在我们里面。我们用身体做什么不只关乎我们自己，也关乎于神。

YOUR BODY IS A TEMPLE

“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?"（1 Corinthians 6:19)

The Bible's basic teaching about immorality is that our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. Paul adds to this, "You are not your own; you were bought at a price.Therefore honor God with your body" (1 Cor 6:20).

We belong to Jesus Christ, and this includes our hair, skin, bones, and every other part. He purchased us by his blood, shed on the cross. This was a very high price, and therefore we have a high obligation. At bottom, we owe it to Christ to lead a holy life.

Besides directly belonging to Christ, we are also recipients of the Holy Spirit. Christ has cleansed us by his blood and now sanctifies us by his Holy Spirit. We should never think that our body is unimportant and that, perhaps, sexual or physical sins mean less than other sins. Our body is called “a temple of the Holy Spirit" and we need to be well aware of this expression at all times and in all situations.

What is the function and purpose of a temple? A temple is a place where God lives. It is his "home", so to speak. As we travel en route, we need to remember that the Lord is not only with us, but also in us.

Our body is a temple of the Holy Sprit. It can be a temple only because Christ has cleansed us body and soul. It is a temple because God dwells in us through the Holy Spirit. What we do with our body is not just our business; it is also God's business.

Question: How does it comfort us to know that our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit?
