Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
One of the best ways that parents can help their teenage children prepare for adult life is to encourage them to take a part-time job.
Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
my first draft:
When talking about the adult life of teenagers, most of us may think it is too early to think about it, however ,in order to let their teenage children adapt to the adult life which will come sooner or later lots of parents beginning to try to make some efforts.including encourage them to take a part-time job.
In my opinion, i don't think it is a good way for teenage children to take a part-time job. First, it will occupy many study times, as the students may have heavy assignments to do.it will probably had a nagitive influence on their major. Second, as many teenager's age doesn't reach to 18,it is illegal to take a part-time job. Third, generally, most of the content of a part-time job is something unimportant, they couldn't learn much form it. in addition, if the experience of a part-time job isn't as good as they expect, they will feel frustrated for the adult life.
If the parents want to help their teenage children to adapt the adult life, there are many other methods they can use. For example, they can give several tasks for their teenage children, like taking good care of the little baby or make a travel plan for the whole family, from the tasks they will not only learn the responsibility as a adult but also improve their survive ability.
All in all, not every teenagers are the same, they will get benefits only when their parents choose the correct way.
When talking about young people, the key words come to my mind are passionate, enthusiastic, progressive and powerful, they are the new energy of our communities. however, nowadays more and more newspapers and medias argue that the young people do not spare sufficient time to helping their communities and label them as selfish, hedonic and lazy. yet it pains me to admit the trend that young people are lacking of communities life. there are many reasons for this situation, which are worthy to probe into.
First of all, along with the fast development of technology and society , young people have to face amount of pressure unseen by any generations . the fierce competition for good school, good internship, good job, etc., deprive the youth today of spare time and energy. as young people feel exhausted everyday, it will be surprising to see them dedicate themselves still wholeheartedly to helping their communities.
Describe a building you like you should say where it is what it is used for what it looks like and explain why you like or dislike it.
well, i'd like to talk about Beijing national stadium. which is also known as the bird's nest. I guess ereryone in beijing likes this building, and i am no exception. It is located in the Olympic green and designed for througout 2008 summer olympic and paralympic games. It hosted the opening and closing ceremonies and athletic events. After 2008, it continued to host sporting events, concerts and pageants. The primary reason i like it is that its design is really brilliant and perfect. As its name, it looks like a huge bird's nest with a capacity of neally 100,000 audience, and the main material is steel. What's more, the sightseeing at night is so beautiful that it has became a famous night scene of Beijing.Tourists all over the world want to take photos with it. The last but not the least, it is nearby my home, i usually go there for a walk. Generally, it is a good place to visit.
