The sanctified price
“May the God of peace himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept sound and blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians5:23
If we will be sanctified, do we have any plan to do all things according to the Scriptures’ standard? Sometimes, our attitude tends to be reckless to the word “sanctification”. Have we prepared for the price we are sanctified? The price means that we must reduce the earthly interest and enhance the interest to the kingdom of God. The sanctification is that we must concern God’s will with our whole hearts and restrain our body including the spirit and all intelligence. We must finish the Lord’s will specially. Would we like to receive that God’s holy spirt do great thing in our life to achieve the Lord’s goal? After God finished his work in our body, whether would we like to become the sanctification like Jesus? “And for their sakes I sanctify myself, so that they also may be sanctified in truth.” We don’t enter the experience of the sanctification, because we don’t understand the meaning of sanctification in the kingdom of God. The sanctification is to be one with Jesus, so that the Lord command Jesus and command us. Would we like to prepare for paying the price that we are willing to give up all things which don’t belong to God?
Can we resonate with Paul’s prayers? Whether can we say:” The Lord, you can let a person with sins sanctified, I desire you can make me sanctified.” Jesus’s prayers required us being one with him, as He is one with the Father of the Heaven. The Holy spirt is that we do anything like Jesus Christ after the holy spirt enters our body, like his relatives. Meanwhile, we must get rid of our bad quality against Jesus. We would like to be separated unto the gospel of God and let the holy spirt work in our body.
