今天就和大家讲讲该怎么地道地表达“我真的很忙！”

① in the middle of sth

字面意思看是在...中间，当你忙着做事的时候，不正好是夹在这件事情的中间吗？

in the middle of后面可以加 sth 或 doing sth。

in the middle of是一个很实用的客套话，能帮你推掉一些无聊的社交邀约。用这个说法和美国人对话，就显得你的英语自然地道了。

比如：

I am in the middle of answering emails. Wait a moment, please.

我忙着回邮件，请等会。

② be tied up

tie是系、绑、打结的意思，tie up 意思就是捆起来、绑起来。

be tied up 就引申为被占用的、脱不了身的、忙得不可开交的。

后面可以加介词 with，be tied up with sth

比如：

She was tied up in a meeting all morning.

她忙了一早上了。

③ have / get one's hands full

大家忙起来的时候是不是左右开弓，两只手都没闲着呢！

所以 have / get one's hands full意思就是很忙。

例句：

I'm afraid not. I'll have my hands full trying to finish my research paper.

我恐怕不行。我忙着完成我的研究论文。
