Bad news not too bad

I received some messages from my friend in Shanghai. She asked me whether I go back to Shanghai spending the Spring Festival.

I felt a sort of embarrassed for that I promised her I'll accompany with her during the New Year vacations in Shanghai.  Nevertheless, I might have to eat my word.

After telling her some abruptly situations about me,she responded she is gonna go back to hometown this year.    She left home almost three years and never intend to visit her family in the Spring Festival.    I'm exceedingly grad for her decision.    As the Chinese old saying goes:Whether you earn money or not,just go back to home have the Spring Festival.    Parents are the safe harbor for you forever.

Another news is she broken up with her younger boyfriend.    I don't think it's a bad news,she deserved better one.
