同义词 笔记

有些词看起来相差十万八千里，词也一样:

adolescent 青少年  teenager，young people

drill这是电钻，不知道怎么也能引申到训练

endeavor  =  hard work 

然后还有 diligent， industrious  明明是工业，竟然也可以是勤奋的意思， industrious  pay  竟然是:天道酬勤，还有persistent efforts，

不知道有多少hard  work.，用来注释人生艰难一般。

the older generation上一辈，前辈older也是前辈

senior 级别高的，predecessor 这是前任，前辈，也有已经被替代的意思

scorn  嘲笑轻蔑,laugh at 嘲笑,contemptuous; 轻蔑.

灭绝die  out

become extinct

annihilation  消灭  毁灭

depopulation  人口减少，灭绝

脆弱的就有

delicate. fragile; frail; weak; tender

analogy  相似同类  比喻

resemblev.看起来像；显得像；像

be similar切近；相像；相似；似

be alike，像

similarityn.相像性

它们像吗？真不觉得。

整理一组一组同义词的时候想，它们相同又不同，或者说只是在某个时候有共通之处，在另一个意思里又相差太远。世界如此多意，而我们，往往对其中的一个意思，一知半解，就说，我们知道了。
