are subordinating conjunctions which can be used to connect an action or an event to a point in time.

We use while
to show that actions or events happen at the same time in the past, present or future:

Warning: We don't use during

We use since
to refer back to a previous point in time. We use since
as a conjunction to introduce a subordinate clause:
