我翻译的《道德经》第七十五章（1）

原文:

民之饥，以其上食税之多，是以饥。

译文:

人民所以遭受饥荒，就是由于统治者收取赋税太多，所以人民才陷于饥饿。

我的翻译:

The famine of the people is due to the fact

that rulers take  too much tax.

So the people are hungry.
