It took place in the communications center studio. There were two chairs on stage: the infamous Hot Seat itself-painted red with flames running up the leg sand an ordinary chair for the host, Kevin. Off to the side were two rows of six chairs each, the second row higher than the first. This was where the jury sat.
infamous adj. having an exceedingly bad reputation
I thought it means nothing related to famous, however, it means the total opposite of good reputation.
