由Eric老师今天关于信息量摄入过多,越关注越焦虑的读书笔记想到一句话:Good teachers teach you what you need to know. Better teachers omit things you don’t need to know.好老师教你什么需要知道,更好的教师省略 。真正的大牛能把复杂的东西讲的举重若轻!
这句话也时常提醒我备课从备学生已知之处出发,将旧知识嵌入学生旧有知识结构网络。像可汗老师说的:构建知识地图;上课从学生能用该知识点做什么,即从用出发。
一节课一个小反思,一节课一个群做家长沟通。从教学小白一步步来,慢慢来不焦虑。
新词学习:
1.×× can drive you batty:the same meaning of“×× can drive you crazy/bananas/nuts/bonkers ”
eg:My baby boy wants to go out for fun every afternoon can drive my mother-in-law batty.
2.hammer:someone is in drink,the same meaning of “tipsy、buzzed、wasted”
eg:It’s a part of my husband's job to drink sometimes.hammer,I should say dislike slightly,but this is life.
>hammer out:come up with something by so much effort
eg:I hammered out the gifts of this term for 2 hours.Finally,a book from the teacher Eric about how to learn English,and some snacks from Liangpinpuzi.
3.shot:encourage someone to try something,it’s the same meaning of “give it a go/shot”
eg:I always encourage my students to give something a shot,cause you'll never know until you try .

孟庆伟老师也分享过一个关于虚拟语气的例子:听奥巴马在一个美国文理学院做毕业典礼演讲。由于他被授予了该校的荣誉博士学位,他大致是这样开头的:
Had I known getting a PhD is so easy, I wouldn't have worked that hard.
翻译:要是我知道拿博士学位这么容易,我就不会那么用功了。
