今年夏天

this summer, I went back to Beijing, China, and after three and a half years of the epidemic, it was very exciting . I transferred from Europe, flew eight hours to Brussels, stayed at the airport for more than five hours, and then flew again the plane unexpectedly arrived in Beijing half  hour ahead of schedule.

still jet lagged, I went to the Beijing Duck, my home  is very close Chaoyang Joy City, the restaurants there are the most popular, so almost every weekend we eat out.

One day, my sister and I went to a Sichuan restaurant , because the food was so delicious, I couldn't think about anything else.

After dinner, my sister showed me  three pairs of earrings and said, "You pick one!" Because I will soon attend the wedding of my sister's daughter, my earrings are all in the United States, and I only brought two or three .

The dark green one caught my eye , and i tried it on. It was very nice. "That's the one! It goes with my dress. "

I handed the other two back to her, and my sister put them on the table. One of them is Swarovski, she bought at a Canadian airport.

After that, we went home. On Saturday afternoon, my sister called me to ask if I had the three pairs of earrings. I said no! Could they have been  left at the restaurant? Could you call and ask?

After I hung up the phone , I felt very bad. It was because of me that she lost them, otherwise who would bring  three pairs of earrings to a restaurant? Those earrings are not cheap, when i thought about this, I almost had a heart attack.

My Sister called the restaurant ,the call didn't go thru, she thought it must be lost, she was ready to give up.Suddenly she remembered that when we bought clothes in READ Me store, the  store next the restaurant.

she has the phone number, then my sister called them, "We had dinner at the  restaurant yesterday, but i left the earrings there, I couldn't find their phone, can you help me to ask how to contact them?"

yes sure , soon she sent a phone number to my sister. it was the restaurant owner's mobile phone, "Yes, there are two pairs of earrings left here, if you live near by you can come anytime, if you live far, we will mail to you ." Said the boss.

"Thank you so much! I‘ not far away I'll back tomorrow ." My sister was so happy.when I heard that she found them, I was fell like i pick up a gold, there are many good people in the world, we are lucky.
