实践证明，英语小短剧深受小学生的欢迎。它不同于传统的照本宣科法，不是“一言堂”、“满堂灌”也不是测验考试不断，造成学生的英语知识从书本中来，到书本中去，令学生望而生厌，兴趣索然。 孩子天生爱模仿、喜欢“过家家”，乐于扮演不同的角色，“英语小短剧”便是他们发挥想象力和满足表达欲的平台。对孩子而言，不仅能用融入场景互动式的学习方法，以英文为学习语言，锻炼孩子们在情境下的自信表达，还能极大地激发孩子们的热情，打开孩子的声音、身体、情绪和心灵，发挥无限潜能。英语小短剧对于调动学生主观能动性，培养学生综合素质发挥着重要作用。

呆萌可爱
体内搞怪因子开始作祟，
招牌动作
短剧伊始，可爱呆萌的“小黄人嗨舞”，闪亮登场，秒博台下观众的眼球，他们呆萌的特性显露无疑，体内搞怪的因子开始作祟，又是挤眉弄眼，又是吐舌头，当然少不了小黄人招牌动作——扭屁股。我们短剧中的“主角”藏起来，眼疾手快的观众们快帮忙找找！找到啦，找到了——哈哈，a banana!

Walking in the jungle,

音乐起，两只猴子藏进了丛林里.……

兔子登场
R: Hello. I'm a little rabbit.
I like carrots. Yummy, yummy
Do you like carrots?
Let's jump into the jungle and find
more carrots.
走到丛林中，隐约看到"banana",一系列心里活动。
R: A carrot, a carrot
Oh, yeah!
What a good luck I had!
迫不及待，仔细定睛一瞧:
R: Not a carrot.
It's a banana.
So big！So fresh!
I’ve never seen such a banana like this. I like this banana!
(2只猴子和兔子上演抢香蕉大战)
音乐3起，猴子们和兔子藏进丛林中……

Beautiful butterfly, flying all around
Circle round the flowers, dancing up
and down
Looking for honey everywhere
Everywhere you see them searching
round and round.
蝴蝶登场
B: Hello! I'm a beautiful butterfly.
I like dancing through the flowers.
(远远看到一朵黄色的花)
B: What flower is it?
So beautiful!
(飞落在“花”上，仔细一看)
B: No,no,no
It's not a yellow flower
It's a banana.
But I like this yellow banana.
(2只猴子，1只兔子和蝴蝶上演“抢香蕉”大战)
音乐4起，猴子，兔子和蝴蝶都藏进了丛林里
Scene 4
黑白山羊登场
G1: Hello. I'm a goat.
G2: I'm a goat, too!
G1: I like white.
G2: I like black.
G1: Bleat, bleat……
G2: Bleat, bleat……
(顶架中，突然发现“banana”)
G1: It's my banana
G2: Give it to me.
It's mine.
(2只山羊抢夺“香蕉”时，2只猴子，兔子，蝴蝶也加入争夺中)
音乐5起，猴子，兔子，蝴蝶，山羊都纷纷藏进丛林中……
Scene 5
狮子登场
L: Hello! I'm a lion.
I'm big and strong.
Ha, ha,ha…
I'm the king of the jungle.
(此时此刻的狮子已经发现所有藏起来的小动物们和香蕉)
L: A banana.
Wow, so big!
L: Hey, gus! Come out!
Rabbit, butterful, goats and monkeys !
I Know all of you are hiding here.
I won't eat you!
All: Really? (怯生生的语气)
L: Really! I promise!
I like this banana.
Do you like this banana.
A: No,no,no
L: Don't be afraid.
This banana looks so big and delicious.
Let's share it together.
A: You're so kind.
Thank you!
( 所有的小动物们围住“香蕉”而坐，正准开吃)
L: What a nice lunch!
You're more delicious than banana!
( 狮子尽显阴险狡诈的面目，准备将所有的动物收入囊中)
L: Roar,roar……
I want to eat all of you!
A: Help,help…( 小动物们仓皇而逃)
You're a lier!
