题目

Write about a trade agreement you are familiar with. You  can write about an agreement your country is a member of, or you can write  about what you learned in this lesson on the EU, the Eurozone and NAFTA.

Harry, Great job writing about a trade agreement! Next  time, make sure that you do not capitalize words like "one" unless  it is a name. Also, use the tools in Englishtown to keep working on your  grammar. Nice work!

Could a newly enforced international free trade agreement  become an “endangered species?” Possible! The China–South Korea Free Trade  Agreement could be the One. The agreement, (I trim it to be an acronym, CK-FTA)  is a free trade agreement between China and South Korea (ROK). Negotiations  on the agreement started in 2012. After 12 rounds of talks, the Agreement was  made official in 2014, inked and enforced in 2015. CK-FTA), the largest  bilateral FTA deal for China in terms of volume, covers 17 areas, including  trade in goods and services, investment and trade rules, and topics such as  e-commerce and government procurement. Under the agreement, China will  abolish tariffs on 91% of all South Korean products within 20 years, while South  Korea will eliminate tariffs on 92% of all goods from China. The two sides  have reached a balance between opening markets and protecting domestic  industry, making the ROK China's sixth-largest trade partner and  third-largest source of imports. The ex-president of South Korea, Park Geun-hye,  stated the deal a “historic milestone in the countries’ efforts to deepen  their strategic cooperative partnership.” China’s president Xi thinks it will  “not only lead to a new leap in trade relations between the two countries but  also bring practical benefits to the people of both countries,” describing it  a milestone in promoting Asia-Pacific regional integration. Nevertheless,Sino-ROKrelationship  has sunk under zero point resulted from the deployment of THAAD missiles.  Even worse, Chinese civilian’s boycott is developing into a violent campaign  against Korean businesses and products in cities, Even Korea-made cars being  destroyed in streets. Meanwhile, the Park’s administration has gone as she  has been impeached. Could CK-FTA survive? You bet it.
