Slow Old Days

Remember the days when we were young,

Everyone was simple, the days were long,

What people meant was what they said alone.

A train station before twilight, shining;

A long street without pedestrians in the dark, sleeping;

At the soy-milk shop, the warm vapor rising.

The sun in old days went slowly,

Carriage, horse, mail all went slowly,

So slowly, that the whole life was only enough for the one.

Even the lock in old days was good-looking,

The key was exquisite by special-designing,

Once you locked it,

Everyone knew it.
