《圣经》典故之二十九：耳朵痒痒

Having itching ears 耳朵发痒；比喻喜欢听新鲜事情。

出自《新约·提摩太后书》4章 （Timothy 4）。For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn awaytheirears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 因为时候要到，人必厌烦纯正的道理。耳朵发痒，就随从自己的情欲，增添好些师傅。并且掩耳不听真道，偏向荒渺的言语。

挺有意思的比喻，用耳朵发痒来比喻喜欢挺新鲜事清。当然，《圣经》原文并不是这个意思，跟我们的成语一样，这属于延伸意思。

我们中国人常说，让我耳根子清净会，似乎是不太愿意新事情。其实不然，我们指的是听多了聒噪，想寻得一份清静。两者是不同的。
