癫痫发作怎么办？如何急救？

看到的几大机构的说法，都是不推荐将任何东西塞进癫痫发作者口内的，当然也包括施救者的手指。

根据美国（CDC）和英国（NHS）的说法，可以做的事情主要包括让患者侧躺，移除他身边所有可能造成意外伤害的东西，适当垫起头部（Put something soft and flat, like a folded jacket, under his or her head.），弄松领带和衣领（以免影响呼吸），摘掉眼镜。可以记录下发作的时间以及表现，这对患者和他的医生有参考价值。

不要做的事情包括强制约束患者的肢体、往他们嘴里放东西，在患者完全恢复清醒之前也不要给他们食物和水。

癫痫患者确实有可能会咬到舌头，但拿其他东西让他们咬可能反而损伤更严重。

CDC的说法：

Do not hold the person down or try to stop his or her movements.

Do not put anything in the person's mouth. This can injure teeth or the jaw. A person having a seizure cannot swallow his or her tongue.

Do not try to give mouth-to-mouth breaths (like CPR). People usually start breathing again on their own after a seizure.

Do not offer the person water or food until he or she is fully alert.
