Slider Assembly
Vacuum changes
Increased Flow
- Specify Vacuum pump with higher flow at lower vacuum(better pull down of devices)
- Large port and tubing size from upper console manifold to heat block
- Offer a kit for higher flow yet for problematic devices
Vacuum Sensor Switch
Standard feature on all machnes, mounted on interface panel bracket (refer to slider assy slide)
Heat Block / Clamp Slider Assembly
Slider Assembly Removal
Heart Block Parts Replacement
Heart Block Theta Adjustment
- Install the heat block gauge.
- Loosen (just by 1/4 turn) each of the four (4) M3 screws that secure the heat block assembly to the top of slider base.
- Rotate the heat block assembly until the heat block gauge front and rear edges are parallel.
- Align the horizontal line of the crosshair with the front and rear edges of heat block gauge.
- Tighten (just by 1/4 turn) each of the four (4) M3 screws, making sure that the heat block assembly does not move when the screws are tightened.
- Verify the theta position of heat block assembly by chessing the horizontal line of the crosshair from left to right on the front edge of the heat block gauge.
Heat Block / Clamp Slider Assembly
Initial Clamp Force Setup
- Insert the clamp & force gauge into the clamp arm, if removed.
- Insert a 0.1mm shim between the left clamp force lever and the ball bearing.
- Loosen the force adjustment screw lock nut and turn the force adjustment set screw until the shim snug slightly between the left clamp force lever and the ball bearing.
- Continue to turn the force adjustment set screw approximately 1/2 turn.
- Tighten the force adjustment screw lock nut. Make sure the force adjustment set screw does not turn when tightening the lock nut.
