[5] What makes a good parent?

      Being a parent is the oldest job in existence. From the very begining of human beings to nowadays, what it means to be a good parent has evolved greatly over the years.  However, in today's society i believe that there are three characteristics that indicate whether a person is a good parent or not. 

      The first of these traits is the capacity for love. Children must feel loved by their parents if they are going to grow into well-develped, stable adults. Children who are grow up in a family filled with love are relaxed and peaceful. These children demonstrate good social skills, and usually well-liked by others. In contrast, children who grow up in unloved house are more anxious and own high potencial risk with other emotional illness.

      Trust is also very important for children's development. If a parent is always prying  into children's privacy, he/she actually showing mistrust to their children. This leads to children hiding things from the parent, which therefore leads to children have no faith in their parents who are the ones they should trust the most. Losing the trust from parents leads children grow into a adult without sense of security. A man who lacks of safe feeling are unlikely to be independent and happy. 

      It is also of utmost importance for a parent to have a well-developed sense of responsibility. Being a good parent not only mean bring life to a new baby, but also imply to take good care and organize everything for a child. This requires careful planing  and multi-tasking. If a person is ready to becoming a parent, he/she must ready for all of these added responsibilities. 

      In conclusion, a good parent has a large capacity for love, trusts the children and must be very responsible. Last, we maintain people take the job of parenting very seirously.
